Raul, 35, and his son Christian, 15, both from Ecuador, were crossing the border from Mexico to the U.S. when they got lost after their smuggler abandoned them. Upon deputies' arrival at the scene, Raul was showing signs of severe dehydration, but his son Christian was already deceased.
